At Sona Studio, we design spaces for living, working, and playing.
Creating a space, regardless of its size, is a complex journey. It begins with a sketch and evolves through idea development, planning, construction, and ultimately, the completion of a beautiful building or interior. Our goal is to guide clients through these unfamiliar territories, ensuring each project maximizes its uniqueness while meticulously crafting every design aspect.

Sustainable design is central to our practice, focusing on minimal environmental impact and maximum human comfort. Our aim is to create beautiful, livable spaces that embody timeless, uncomplicated architecture.

Founded in 2015 by Janson Sadler, Sona Studio is based in Sydney. We offer design services for commercial, hospitality, and residential projects, including new builds, alterations and additions, renovations, and interior design.

Sona Studio’s founding director, Janson Sadler, seemed destined for a career in architecture. Born in Italy, her early exposure to design and a natural affinity for the field led her to pursue architectural studies in Paris. She earned her master’s degree from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville (ENSAPB).

Since then she has worked at renowned architectural practices both overseas and in Sydney. With extensive experience across various architectural and interior design typologies, she brings a refined, globally influenced approach to her work. Her travels throughout Europe, Central America, and the United States have shaped her design philosophy, integrating diverse artistic and architectural influences.

Passionate about design as a tool to enhance space and experience, she continually seeks innovative and thoughtful solutions.
