An existing three storey house, stripped back, remodelled and refurbished.

The layout was simplified by creating a connected space from a series of disjointed rooms - opening the space inward and outwards, lowering the ground floor level, and reaching for light along the main facades.

Inside, simplicity was key in planning and finishes. Details such as a floating timber staircase, deep steel reveal and a secret pivot door punctuate the space and separate public and private.

Terrazzo flooring, white walls, black steel and dark-stained American oak veneer are notable features. The luxurious aesthetic of the space is enhanced with high-end finishes and carefully curated furnishings.

Outside, the main facade has been stripped back with openings framed in steel reveals. At its centre, a new entry is introduced with a steel staircase and a marmorino veneziano feature wall. The double-height volume opens to the upstairs formal dining and living area.
