This fit-out for a young and upcoming editing company specialising in visual storytelling, takes inspiration from the name of the business and heroes the arc as the main feature of the space.

The brief was to strip back the building and restore the feel of its original warehouse structure. This was achieved by revealing various existing finishes, exposing the services on the ceiling and using raw materials such as bricks, plywood, timber joists and concrete.

Two main axes have been cut through the space to maximise circulation and natural light. To soften the space, curved plywood runs along the walls stopping short of the ceiling, providing storage, revealing and concealing doors, and allowing for planted landscaping.
The permeability of the plywood is broken in some areas by using vertical timber screening to connect different areas.

The open-plan approach is immediately apparent as you enter the office, with all the common areas readily accessible and visually interconnected: waiting room, production area and kitchen.

Five editing suites are enclosed at the back of the office, acoustically insulated and soundproofed as most of the services provided by the company require privacy.

The rooms have been set up as luxurious living rooms to accommodate/ receive clients, while incorporating a working space on the side.
